Three Musketeers Receives Superior Award

The Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Theatre production of ‘The Three Musketeers” received a Superior rating from the Florida College System Activities Association. 

The respondent who evaluated the show praised, “This [production] represents superior work from Âé¶¹´«Ã½. The ambition of the piece, the technical execution, the committed performances, and the clear ensemble work all demonstrate a strong collaborative process. The production successfully met the considerable challenges that “The Three Musketeers” presents - from the fight choreography to the multiple locations to the vocal demands - and showcased the range of talent available at the college. The production demonstrated a clear directorial vision that brought Ken Ludwig's adaptation to life with energy and spectacle. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew on this achievement.”

Eight students were awarded special recognition pins for their performance: Logan Cook (D’Artagnan), Caden Kearns (Cardinal Richelieu), Gavin Nehemiah Braddy (Aramis), Quinton Chavers (Rochefort), Aly Matthews (MiLady), Charlize Reyes (Constance), Erika Young (Stage Manager), and Em Shelton (Light Board Operator).

Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Theatre’s next production is “Anastasia: The Musical,” slated for February 26-28 at 7 p.m. and March 1 at 2 p.m. in the Center for the Arts, Theatre.  Tickets go on sale January 20 at or at the Center for the Arts Box Office.  ACT Fund members may redeem their tickets now.  Box Office hours are Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.  The Box Office is closed during college holidays.  For more information call the Box Office at 850-718-2420.
