Florida College System Foundation Awards Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Foundation Over $19,000 in Scholarships for 2025-26
When Commissioner of Education Anastasios Kamoutsas visited Âé¶¹´«Ã½ a few weeks back, he presented the college with a check from the Florida College System Foundation in support of scholarships that will benefit local students.
The Florida College System Foundation Board of Directors proudly awarded the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Foundation the 2025-26 academic scholarships. These statewide scholarships are aimed at relieving the nursing shortage and helping students who are the first in their family to attend college.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Foundation will receive a total of $19,264 in 2025-26 scholarship funds, including:
- $13,640 from the Florida Blue Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship, which requires a local match partner.
- $1,785 from the Helios Education Foundation for First Generation students.
- $3,839 from Bank of America for First Generation scholarships.
“Support from the Florida College System Foundation helps us remove financial barriers for deserving students,” said Julie Fuqua, Âé¶¹´«Ã½’s Foundation Director. “We are grateful to Commissioner Kamoutsas and the Foundation for their continued partnership in helping our students reach their educational goals.”
