Âé¶¹´«Ã½ TRiO Society invites all Âé¶¹´«Ã½ clubs, students, faculty, and staff to join us in honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Let’s walk together in support of survivors, fighters, and families.

- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, first established in 1985 to promote education and early detection.
- Breast cancer is the most common cancer worldwide among women, but early detection through screenings can save lives.
- In the United States, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
- Men can also be affected — about 1 in 833 men will develop breast cancer.
- Wearing pink during October is a symbol of unity, awareness, and hope.
